Random

• I cannot seem to wake up today. I am so tired for some reason and the day is just dragging. It doesn't help that I'm jealous because M took the day off. Oh well, my weekend starts at 4:00 p.m. today, less than 2 hours. Yay for long weekends!!
  
  
• Our new stove is being delivered tomorrow. Is that weird that I am excited?? Our old one died last month and we bought a new one last weekend. I love my crockpot and all, but I'm getting sick of not having an oven to cook.
  
  
• Yesterday was Ash Wednesday, meaning the begininning of Lent. I gave up chocolate. This will be very difficult. Not that I've been eating a ton of chocolate lately, although I do sneak some here and there... but this also means I can't have hot chocolate, Fiber One chocolate & oats bars, etc. It will be tough, but I think I can do it.
  
  
• My brother and his girlfriend got engaged on Valentine's Day. I'm not very close with her because of a few things that have happened in the past, but they have been together for 4 years and I guess I figured they would end up together. If my brother is happy, then I am happy for him. But, imagine my surprise when I received an email from his girfriend... uh, fiance... asking me to be her maid of honor (although most likely, I will be a matron by then... but I disgress). I choked on my coffee. I would not have guessed in a million years she would ask me to be her maid of honor. She said she knows it's a little bit weird, but she has no sisters and she's not so close with most of her girlfriends anymore because they are trouble makers. I've been thinking about it and I think I will do it - more so for my brother.
  
  
• I really hope that I am not getting sick again. My sinuses are driving me crazy and I have a sore throat. It's this stupid weather.
