Well... the cleanse portion of the 24 day challenge is over. My official weight lost during this time? 5.8 lbs. At first, I was frustrated with myself because I know it could have been a little more had I not had that big disaster with eating/drinking last weekend. But on second thought, I can't be too upset about losing 5.8 lbs in 10 days - that's great! I started off at 189 lbs and currently am at 183.2 lbs. The 170's are so close, I can't wait! I also took my measurements before I started all of this and I will be doing it again this weekend for a midpoint check. I know I definitely have lost inches - I can tell by my clothes.
For the remaining 14 days, I can add in a few more carbs if I want (but my plan is just to keep doing what I've been doing... no bread). Also, the disgusting fiber drink is permanently replaced with the meal replacement shake. So glad to be done with the fiber drink for good.
I ran again at the gym yesterday. Besides just a little tightness in my right calf, I didn't have any problems with it. I guess I will be continuing with the running thing for a while. While I still can't say I like running... getting back into it has not been as hard as I thought it would be. I've been mostly running with a little walking for 2 miles.
In other news, we found our minister. We met with him on Tuesday and I'm getting excited all over again for the wedding. Can't believe it's only 5 months away. I'm taking 3 of my bridesmaids this weekend to get their dresses.

I'm all for running, but I found walking at a good pace on a decent incline burns more calories and is nicer to my knees! Keep up the good work!!
