Valentine's Day

Melissa is hosting a Valentine's Day swap. I thought this sounded like fun, so I signed right up. I LOVE Valentine's Day. Go ahead and tell me it's a holiday created by Hallmark, I don't care. Regardless of my relationship status, Valentine's Day has always been one my favorite holidays. I look back fondly at the little gifts/single roses my dad gave (and still does) to me and my sister... it reminds us how special we are. I enjoy creating these special moments for my nieces, too.

Anyway.... Melissa put together some questions for us to answer...

1. Handmade gifts? Love or hate? Love. I wish I was crafty and was good at making my own handmade gifts. It's not really a talent of mine, but I love receiving them.

2. Gift cards? Love or tacky? Love.

3. What type of theater do you frequent (like Cinemark, etc)? I honestly can't remember the last time I went to the movies, but Cinemark and Regal Cinemas are the closest ones to me.

4. Coffee? addict, like, can't stand? Starbucks, home, other? Total addict. I love making it at home (putting cinnamon in the coffee grounds is amazing) as well as from the coffee shop.

5. Do you read? Books you've been wanting to read? Type of books you like? I love to read. All kinds of books. If it sounds interesting, then I'm interested in reading it. I recently bought a Kindle and I'm obsessed.

6. 3 Favorite running accessories. iPod, Garmin, and ????

7. Kids? Ages? No kids.

8. Pets? I have 3. Chihuahua/Terrier mix, Stewart, and 2 cats, Bailey & Jameson.

9. 3 things you can't leave home without. Chapstick, cell phone, water

10. 3 Favorite magazines. Current subscription? Self and Women's Health... and the occasional Cosmo...

11. When you are in a running slump, what motivates you? Friends or signing up for a 5K.

14. 3 Favorite Valentine's candies. Pretty much anything chocolate. Not a fan of the conversation hearts though.
