Politics?

One of the items on my bucket list is to work on a political candidate's committee. And guess what?? I've been given that opportunity. It's very exciting. I attended the kick off campaign today for someone very dear to me.

A very good friend of my family is running for Sheriff of the county I live in. I am beyond excited about this.

True, I decided to go down a different career path (one that I am happy with, I might add), but I am passionate when it comes to the criminal justice field. Mr. Barry is a close family friend... his family is my family. He has been a mentor to me over the years and also helped me get my internship at the Sheriff's Office during my last year of college. He stands for everything I believe in and I can't think of anyone else's campaign I'd rather be a part of than his.

In other news - M & I are going to the Browns game tomorrow. I'm sure they will lose (the are playing the Titans!), but I love football and I'm excited about going to the game.
