Tell us about your hobbies! What do you do in your free time? What are your favorite books, movies, music etc?
Hobbies. Hmm.
I love to read. I recently finished the Fifty Shades trilogy and loved it! I will read anything and finding all kinds of new books to read was made even easier when I got a Kindle. I read a lot of true crime and I'm starting to kind of get into chick lit. I also read a lot of non fiction.
I enjoy baking. Not cooking. When it comes to food, my husband is pretty darn picky. I feel like we eat all of the same things over and over again, and it's all very basic. I would love to take cooking classes and maybe I would learn to like cooking more. But baking... I would bake something every day if we weren't trying to watch our waste lines! I have been using pinterest to find some new ideas.
Love, love, love spending time with my nieces and nephews and do this as often as I can. They have smiles that heal me and are so much fun.
Other than that, I just like to be outside... sipping cocktails or grilling out on the patio, going on motorcycle rides with my husband, visiting wineries... you get the idea.
It's almost Friday! I'm excited for the weekend AND I'm on vacation next week. Not going anywhere exciting unfortunately, more like trying to get the basement cleaned out, but it will nice to be away from work for just a little bit.
I finished the 50 shades trilogy on a 3 day weekend, and I am currently on book two for the second time, reading at a more normal pace, to keep up with my friends who were late on the bandwagon!!!
ReplyDeleteI was a super huge true crime fan for the longest!!!
not a baking tip, but a healthy alternative to a desert, my fave thing to make, is to take 3 containers of yoplait whipps. (any flavor, the ones I have enjoyed are key lime, orange dreamcicle, chocolate mousse) and fold into a 8oz container of sugar free cool whip, and spread into a reduced fat graham pie crust, and freeze overnight.
No one I have ever served this to has ever asked if it is healthy, it is just like an ice cream pie! soooo good!!!
That sounds excellent. I think I will try that this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love spending time with my nieces too. So fun! I really need to read 50 Shades. Downloaded it but have motivated yet!
ReplyDeleteJodi - the first couple of chapters should get you motivated! :)
