This world is ever changing and faster paced every day. I get that. I'm all for making life easier by doing the simplest of things.
But really? Why must people email/text/blog like they are idots??
When a Facebook status says this: "i will come c u since u wanna cook food and i ain't doin nuthin else..."
Really? Come on. This isn't 150 characters or less. When this is done in emails is when it REALLY bothers me. I kind of can understand texts that are shorthand, but yes, I am THAT girl who types out every word and uses correct grammar in all of my texts. But other than sending texts, there is no reason to type like an idiot.
For God's sake, USE proper grammar!!
I am so there with you. I'm almost anal about with my texts, though. I'll find myself trying to use abbreviations and going back and fixing it to be the full word. At least I'm not the only one. :-)
ReplyDeleteI second that! Poor grammar bothers me so much, and texts are no different. What's the point of texting someone if they can't read what you have written?!

ReplyDeleteI can tell when Im sad or angry when Im writing something and I dont capitalize a letter or spell a word wrong. The sad part is, none of my friends even recognize my mood because they have no idea the word is spelled wrong.
