My personal training experience last night.
First, crazy trainer guy kicked our @sses... big time. I'm quite sore today. We did a little cardio and arms/back and tomorrow is legs. This is good, because I don't really think my upper body can handle anymore abuse until Friday - at least!
Crazy trainer guy - let's call him Stuart - I'm liking him. I obviously need to listen to everything he says... he has an amazing body, so is apparently doing something right.
M thought it was a dumb idea when I told him I wanted to sign up for some personal training sessions at the gym. Now, M is in very good shape as well - he looks a lot like Stuart. M is also religious about working out. He rarely misses a workout... and if he does, he makes it up. He even likes it. I'm so opposite. I hate... yes HATE working out. I have no motivation to do it, either. Even if I did, this new gym with the new machines... I don't know how to use them.
I know what you are thinking - have M be my personal trainer. Um, NO WAY. I know he would be quite capable and we've had conversations about him getting certified to become a personal trainer. He would certainly be good at it. But not for me, no thanks. M and I would probably end up fighting because he would tell me I'm being a sissy.
I think I will stick with Stuart for a while. We also talked about eating habits and the fact that I don't drink enough water. My eating habits aren't bad, but I know I don't eat enough protein. So now we are keeping food journals. This should be interesting.
