Wow. So it's been almost 2 months since I last blogged. I'm not making any excuses. I didn't have a whole lot of blog material... and I was stressed with wedding planning.
Anyway, I'm back and a lot has happened in the last couple of months. M and I got married and went honeymooning. I got my nose pierced. I also changed positions at my job. I ran my first 5K. And some other exciting things. I'll be catching you up over the next couple of weeks.
First, let's talk weddings. M and I tied the not on September 25 - both the wedding and reception were in my parents backyard. It was perfect and very "us." Neither of us wanted a big fancy wedding... because well, neither of us are big fancy people. The wedding ceremony was for immediate family only. I blubbered through my vows (and remember this post... I never cry). And the "reception" (if you even want to call it that) was very laid back. After the traditional dances - i.e. first dance, dad & daughter, mother & son - M and I changed into a sweatshirt and jeans and hung out with everyone else around the bonfire. It was so much fun. M and I are truly blessed. We have amazing family and friends. Our day was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing about it.
